LITE VERSION
"Toilet paper" versions
Before going to a PCB prototype, I tested several designs and firmwares using a breadboard. In order to make the antenna, I used a toiler paper cardboard.
This photo shows some hand-made antennas and a USB RFID reader made with a breadboard and a stripeboard.
Version 0.1
Once the firmware was totally developed, I made a PCB with a printed antenna.
This DIP prototype lacks of some features like the AGC (Automatic Gain Control), so I had to solder some components "in the air".
The video shows the "general purpose firmware", version 0.2.
Version 0.2
SMD version with a new antenna design and one more LED.
This would be the final version, but I found a problem with the ACG just 5 minutes before sending it to manufacture.
Version 0.3
Like version 0.2 but with a "missing" component. This is a small batch of manufactured PCBs. You can get one.
